Project Overview

Our client is the Department that formulates, implements, and monitors the Foreign Trade Policy (FTP) which provides the basic framework of policy and strategy to be followed for promoting exports and trade. They were looking for a content management system that depicts and disseminates the latest information to its users. That ensures ease of user journey and user experience so that all Important content and the inner pages can be reached easily.

The Solution

To gain a better understanding of the challenges, the team held several interactive meetings. In addition, several solution strategies were successfully implemented. They are briefly described as follows:

  • HomePage with a slider at the top user can access the particular page of the platform from the header.
  • The search option allowed users to search for a particular page of the platform.
  • A dashboard that allowed users to see all the data in the form of a graphical representation.
  • Achievements page that will display the achievements of the platform. Users can select the month according to their preference which will show the details of the achievements.
  • The trade analytics page will display the link that will take users to the details of the trade analytics with interactive dashboards which allow the users to filter and view data for any one or more attributes applicable.
  • The divisions page will share information regrading all the divisions that are related to the platform.
  • What’s New page will display all the latest news and details that will be related to the Department of Commerce.,/li>
  • International Trade will display all India and international trade, trade agreements, joint statements, minutes of meetings, trade promotion programs, and all the other information that is related to international trade.
  • Trade Statistics will show the statistics of the latest trade figures, export-import data bank (annually and monthly), foreign trade performance, and other important statistics of the Department of Commerce.
  • Media page with all the latest news, updates, and publications with the photo and video gallery of the latest updates of the Department of Commerce.,/li>
  • RTI will allow the user to know the information regarding general matters on right to information and other information that is related to the RTI act.
  • Who’s Who will display all the official details of the Department of Commerce with their phone numbers and emails.
  • A press release that will provide you with information about the Department of Commerce with the latest news and official statement.
  • The tender page will display all the information about tenders, including the latest tender details and guidelines.
  • Feedback page that will allow visitors to post their feedback. Visitors need to fill in some of their basic details in the feedback form and after clicking the submit button they can submit their feedback.
  • Contact displays the contact information of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry so that visitors can get information about their concerns.
  • Grievance Management System: The user should be able to lodge the grievance/complaint on the website and should be able to track the status of the grievance/complaint.

The Result

  • As a result, the platform helped the client to easily manage the content for their website as well as a mobile app.
  • The client was now able to have full control over the content across the website and the app.
  • They are able to provide all the information related to acts & schemes, Trade Analytics, Major achievements, Trade Policies, procedures, and the latest updates about its concerned users and general information to the public.
