Fermax is a leading home automation, security hardware and technology provider in Asia region. They approached E2logy with a requirement to develop a properties management and communities platform. The primary goal of the platform was to eliminate many of the manual processes that are involved in managing the properties management such as notices, announcements, complaints and amenities booking etc. The system should also allow managing the maintenance requests. The residents should also be able to pay maintenance request fees and amenities booking fees etc. Via the platform itself. Moreover, they were also looking to integrate certain home automation systems within the platform.

The proposed solution was supposed to be a completely modular system so that the property managers/companies can choose between the modules that they need. Another requirement was that the system should be scalable and extensible so that new modules can be easily added and the system should also be able to support the increasing user base as the new communities sign up into the platform. Additionally, the architecture of the system needed to easily support the integration of the extensive home & condo automation devices.
E2logy team of solution experts thoroughly understood the requirements and designed a fully scalable, completely modular platform consisting of a mobile app, web app and a backend. The mobile app was targeted for the residents and will allow them to stay connected with the community and the neighbourhood, view notices and announcements from the property manager, raise maintenance requests and track them, book common amenities, make the payment for maintenance and amenities and receive instant alerts regarding their property, community and bookings. Furthermore, it will also allow them to manage their visitors by issuing the day pass for the entry and parking. The property managers and the platform admin will have access to an extensive backend which allows them to manage their day to day activities such as sending the notices, posting announcements, managing the property documents, managing the maintenance requests and amenities bookings etc.
The end result was a simple, quick & efficient centralized system to manage all the activities and tasks of the property management along with enhanced security of the property by allowing only authorized entry. Also enabling the monitoring and control of the various home automation devices from anywhere. The solution facilitated a completely online system to manage every aspect of the property and community management and eliminated the need to have paperwork and manual work. The platform also helped in bringing the communities together and enhancing the life of the residents who live in those neighbourhoods.
